The sounding pipe of flammable oil tanks in all types of ships must be equipped with an automatic-closing device according to regulations. In order to comply with this regulation, we offer the Self-closing head, type 36A-40. However, the Classification society's regulations were revised due to the SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) amendment in 1989. As a result, we developed the type 36F-4 to adhere to the latest regulation.
The Self-closing head comes in several variations:
- Type 36F-40 with signal
- Type 36A-40 without signal
- Type 36P-40 without signal but comes with pedal
